Warmth! Sunlight! The afternoon was warm and wonderful, and students were playing baseball and
frisbee on the lawn in front of the library. While walking back to the library from across campus I was, once again, taken by how beautiful this compact copse of conifers is. Tall and stately, these are some of my favorite trees. I think I'm detecting my first hint of spring fever here...

Conifer copse with the library behind it.

Inside the copse is a small island of solace in the middle of campus.

Benches in front of the library, which enjoys a sunny southwestern exposure.

I love the sillhouette of the bench against the wall, and the hidden grove in the mini-copse.
As for spring fever?
I'm defintely going to be outside, catching some rays tomorrow!
The RU campus certainly has its moments - and the conifers are a constant little island of calm. I often step in there for a few moments when traveling across campus on a busy day. A little solar applied vitamin D today sounds like a good thing!
